Gingerbread came to us with a horrible case of lice, horrible respiratory infection, infected eyes and a paw that had been broken but had already healed. The vet wasn’t sure that he would make it. He was skin and bones. His foster knew that he was going to be a lot of work but she pushed through and got him healthy. He had to be shaved to get all of the nits out of his fur. His paw is still a little crooked from the break, but it doesn’t bother him. He runs around and plays and climbs the cat tree. His fur was mostly black before but it’s growing back black and silver.
